This destination is popular for its low prices and vibrant nightlife. The nightlife is varied, and most of the action takes place on the main street, lined with restaurants, pubs, and nightclubs. Skiing is spread across several areas around the city, with varying standards and difficulty levels. Kasprowy Wierch, located about 3 km outside the city, offers the most advanced skiing area, popular among snowboarders. It features four slopes and two lifts accessible by a cable car (opening around mid-December) that can carry up to 360 people per hour. The Harenda ski area caters to intermediate to advanced skiers, with four lifts and several runs, including a FIS slope where international competitions are held. Harenda is also the only ski area where you can purchase lift passes for 1-7 days. Other ski areas only sell ticket books. To reach the slopes, you can drive, take a minibus, taxi, or even a horse-drawn carriage. All at an affordable price.
