Vienna's many coffeehouses are often old, yet lively and diverse. They are the daily oases, places for meditation and enjoyment. With a vibrant nightlife, there are small clubs, venues, and bars—and during the summer, wonderful outdoor spaces. Restaurants cater to all tastes and cultures. The local cuisine is well worth trying; who wouldn't crave a delightful “Wienerschnitzel?”

Much Enjoyment Awaits! Prater is a large recreational area with an amusement park next to the Danube. The giant Ferris wheel was built in 1896-97 and features roller coasters, bumper cars, and much more for the entire family. A fantastic family experience is also offered at the Schönbrunn Zoo.
