Forte dei Marmi

Cecina is a family-friendly coastal town offering a pleasant selection of restaurants and bars and an extensive sandy beach. A charming market is held here once a week. From Cecina, you are close to the picturesque Etruscan town of Volterra. Make sure to also visit Siena.

Marina di Bibbona

San Vincenzo

This is a pleasant town with a long and beautiful sandy beach, perhaps one of the coast's best. The town is more lively than places like Vada and Cecina and has a good selection of bars and restaurants. As an excursion, visit Elba, accessible by ferry from Piombino.

Porto Santo Stefano

A marvelous little town where houses climb up the hillside, surrounded by delightful beach coves. Here you can enjoy delicious seafood at one of the local restaurants while savoring the view and atmosphere.

Castiglione della Pescaia

A coastal gem, it is a very popular destination with a charming town center, a lovely beach, and a cozy little harbor. A cycle path takes you along the coast.

Elba

The island is one large, inviting green oasis. Delightful villages are enticingly positioned along the coast or perched on heights with stunning views over the island. You can find sandy beaches hidden like small treasures between rocks with crystal clear water. Elba has its own presentation.
