Trips to Soelden
The Alpine World Cup kicks off every year in Sölden! The village is located in the Ötztal Valley in southwestern Tyrol. This area boasts two major glaciers, Rettenbach and Tiefenbach, connected by two large ski areas and even Europe's longest ski tunnel – impressive!
Skiing here takes place at over 2,000 meters, making the area extremely snow-secure. From the top of Schwarzen Schneide on Rettenbach, you can ski all the way down to the valley, with an elevation drop of 1,880 meters. Gigiioch features a world-class terrain park with a half pipe, boarder cross course, and big jumps.
The Rettenbach area offers easier skiing, while more challenging runs can be found around Gaisachkogl, which also provides excellent opportunities for off-piste skiing.

It's not just the skiing that's world-class; the nightlife is also top-notch. There are plenty of good restaurants and nightclubs. Imagine 110 restaurants plus 60 bars and nightclubs. Despite its considerable size, the area has managed to retain its charm not only in the village but also in the small mountain huts on the slopes.
