Alpine Skiing

Branäs ski center offers 16 lifts and 24 slopes, featuring skicross, a children's skicross, and a Dog park. One of the lifts is a 12-person gondola that ensures short wait times and a quick ascent, providing more time on the slopes! The runs at Branäs are always in perfect condition and offer a delightful variety in terms of skill level and adventure. The long, gently rolling slopes are particularly appealing to beginners.

Snowboarding

The fun park is a paradise for snowboarders, featuring excellent jumps and rails of varying difficulty levels—open even in the evenings. The skicross track runs parallel to the main slope.

Activities Off the Slopes

After a long day of skiing, you'll have worked up quite an appetite. You can satisfy it at the mountain's delightful dining options, which also offer fantastic views. Guests at Branäs are offered free access to a nearby sauna and swimming pool, making for a relaxing end to your day.

Accommodation

Branäs offers convenient accommodation options both at the top and base of the mountain. Renting a cabin together is a wonderful experience. Ski rentals, lift tickets, and shops are located at the base of the mountain, with lift tickets also available for purchase at the summit.

Exciting News for the Kids Area

The children's area has been relocated and expanded to include a total of 3 lifts and a conveyor belt. The area at the top of the mountain now features two lifts, a magic carpet, and a sledding hill.

Branäs is ideal for family trips. In the children's club, kids quickly make friends, and the instructors maintain an exciting atmosphere with fun activities like treasure hunts and sled racing.

Summer

Relaxation and nature beautifully describe Branäs in the summer months. Nature invites you to enjoy wonderful hikes, berry picking, and if you're lucky, you might also spot some local wildlife. Branäs offers bike rentals and tennis courts. Down by the river, you'll find a sandy beach perfect for refreshing swims.

Modern Accommodations

Branäs offers modern accommodations in cabins or apartments, fully equipped with all the amenities you could desire. On the mountain, you can stay in larger cabins with outdoor spaces perfect for summer evenings by the grill. In the Branäs village, there are both cabins and apartments, also with outdoor spaces. Reservations are flexible with any day arrival and departure, but require a minimum stay of two consecutive nights. The accommodations feature well-equipped kitchens for self-catering. All check-ins and check-outs are managed at the reception in the valley. Check-in is available from 3 PM, and check-out is by 11 AM.

Activities

Branäs suggests day trips to explore the surrounding area, with easy access to water parks, golf courses, and cultural attractions. Locally, you can hike, fish, bike, ride horses, canoe, or join a beaver or moose safari. You can even build your own raft and drift leisurely down the river.

Dining

The area around Branäs offers a variety of dining choices, from simple meals to locally sourced and organic cuisine. Game and fish feature heavily on many menus. Local restaurants offer produce such as venison, elk, boar, and more, along with bread, cheese, jams, and other delights. You can also purchase exquisite homemade pralines crafted from local berries.
