This region is where you go to enjoy sun and swimming from May to October. During winter, the climate is pleasant, often sunny, with temperatures reaching up to 20 degrees Celsius.

Alicante is the provincial capital and features a vibrant city center with numerous cafes and restaurants. The old town's narrow streets are lined with bars, and the area comes alive during the late evenings and nights. Alicante also offers great shopping opportunities with a variety of popular clothing stores and a department store. In the heart of the city, there is a beautiful sandy beach.

To both the north and south of Alicante, there are several attractive beach resorts. Some are renowned for their lively summer nightlife, such as Benidorm. Others are quaint fishing villages that have retained their charm, offering visitors a peaceful atmosphere and stunning views. Notable destinations include Denia, Xabea, Albir, Altea, and Calpe. You can access all of these places via the "tourist train" that runs between the city of Alicante and Denia. South of Alicante lies Gran Vista, a quiet vacation area featuring townhouses and a communal pool.
